IELTS Listening Map Questions | Example 3

Welcome to the University Sports Centre. Today, I’ll give you a quick tour of the present layout of our facilities.

As you enter through the reception area, you will see the 25-meter swimming pool straight ahead in the centre of the facility. This pool is used for both casual swimming and professional training.

To the left of the pool, we have the changing rooms where you can store your belongings and get ready for activities. These are fully equipped with lockers and showers.

To the right of the pool, there is a seating area, where spectators can sit and watch the events or classes happening in the pool area.

Behind the pool, towards the north side of the building, you will find our gym, which contains a variety of exercise machines and weight-training equipment. This space is available for all members.

Moving outside, on both the west and east sides of the sports centre, you will notice the outdoor courts, which are used for sports like basketball, tennis, and volleyball. These courts are open for booking and are a great place to practice team sports.
